Harvest

Manual, with a selection in the vineyard on the stainless grape bin. The Harvest started on the 25th of September. Thanks to a sweet and rainy winter, then a dry and warm spring, followed a fresher and rainier summer, the harvet was a bit delayed. But, it was going well with beautiful maturities for the grapes. Good conditions letting augur a vintage 2014 particularly concentrated, fruity with tanins of a beautiful finess.

Wine-Making

Traditionally during 15 days - With thermoregulation to controlled the temperatures

Ageing

8 to 12 months in oak big barrels

Tasting

To the eye, a beautiful purplish ruby color. To the nose, appear tasty and fruity notes of crushed stramberries which are also present in mouth. At the end of the mouth, we also find flavors of Violet. This vintage provided with a beautiful concentration of tannins and flavors, assuring a good potential of ageing.

Winemaker's advices

The beautiful concentration and the fruity notes of the Vieilles Vignes 2014 will marry wonderfully  with all sorts of cheese and meats such as games, beef or lamb. You will be able to accompany it with a beef steak cooked with Provencal Herbs and roasted carrots. Also, tomatoes or eggplants stuffed with lamb meat.
